Refunds

If you're not happy with your book, email us within 7 days of buying it for a full refund. You don't need to give a reason. If your book can't be made after you pay, we'll refund you too.

Privacy

What we collect: the photos you add, your child's first name, any notes you write, and the email address you use to pay. We don't see your full card details.

How we use it: only to make and deliver your book, and to help you if something goes wrong. We don't sell your information.

Who helps us: Anthropic's Claude reads your photos and writes the story. Stripe handles payment. Resend sends our emails. Fly.io hosts the site and stores your book. Their own privacy terms apply to the information they process.

How long we keep it:

• If you don't buy, your photos and preview are deleted from our site within about 24 hours.
• If you buy, your original photos are deleted from our site when your book finishes.
• Your finished book and the email address you paid with are deleted after about 30 days.
• Stripe and Resend may keep their own records, such as receipts and email logs.

Children: Fridgeling is for parents and guardians, not for children to use themselves. Please add photos of artwork only, not photos of children or other people. To ask us to delete something sooner, email us.

Terms

• You must be an adult, and the parent or guardian of the child whose art you add.
• The art must be yours or your child's to use.
• Your book is for personal and family use. You keep the rights you have in your child's art.
• Stories are written with AI. We can't promise every story will be perfect, so please read it before sharing it with your child.
• Please download your book within 30 days. We can't restore it after it's deleted.
• You may not upload anything unlawful, harmful or unsafe for children. We may refuse any upload.
• Fridgeling is provided as is. Where the law allows, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
